The district will soon notify all employees of the need to use multifactor authentication when logging into the district’s email program or network on a new device or whenever the time window for authentication expires. This is being brought on by requirements of the District’s insurance company in light of the ever-increasing threat posed by ransomware and other malware. In conversations with the district, the STA has stressed the importance of providing an alternative for members who prefer not to use their personal devices. Details will follow after the break.
